Your safety is our top priority.
Our healthcare team stays up-to-date with CDC-recommended protocols to limit exposure to or the spread of COVID-19 and other acute illnesses. WFMC Health is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and staff.
We will continue to provide patient services during our regular hours. Our business hours are still Monday through Friday, 8 am to 7 pm and Saturday, 9 am to 2 pm. We accept Medicaid and most private insurance.
Now, get care and advice from home
We now offer remote visits by telemedicine for physical and mental health. Instead of coming into the clinic, we can see and talk to you at home through your computer or smartphone. You can stay home and stay safe. Together we’ll decide if you can get appropriate care at home or if you need to come to the clinic or another location.

The COVID-19 pandemic can be scary, frustrating, and lonely. We’re here to provide support. Learn more about our mental health services here.
When you call for an appointment
When you call WFMC Health, please tell us if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, or shortness of breath. That will help us direct your care.
Each patient should bring ONLY ONE additional person to the appointment. This will reduce crowding in the waiting area so you can maintain a 6-foot distance from other people waiting.
If you’re an adult …
We will evaluate you over the phone, first. Please call us at (503) 585-6388. We will ask you about symptoms and potential exposure to COVID-19. That will help us take proper action for your health.
For your child …
We are continuing to provide Well Child Checks. Preventive measures are in place in our clinic to protect all patients and staff and decrease potential exposure to the coronavirus and other acute illnesses.

For your health and ours …
- Surfaces and doors in the clinic are deep cleaned and sanitized throughout the day
- We will call you before a scheduled appointment to discuss any symptoms you have
- You may see our providers in masks and gloves—these precautions are for the safety of our patients and staff. Our providers are using personal protective equipment as recommended by the CDC for Health Care Workers.
Protect yourself and others from COVID-19 and other acute illnesses
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (60-95% alcohol content).
- Avoid contact with sick people. Avoid touching your face.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or use your elbow. Immediately dispose of the tissue.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Use soap and water, a household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Keep at least six (6) feet between you and people you do not live with.
If you feel sick
- Stay home if you’re sick. Call us first to evaluate your symptoms over the phone or by using our telemedicine service.
- Avoid public areas, crowds and public transportation.
- Do not go to the hospital emergency room to get a test, ask questions or get a checkup. Only go if you have a true health emergency OR if your primary care provider has told you to go to emergency.
- Separate yourself from other people as much as possible. Stay home.
- Monitor yourself and your family for fever, coughing, and shortness of breath. These can be symptoms of COVID-19.
